
A regular meeting of the University Council was held at Cyber University State University. The meeting was attended by the university leadership, professors and lecturers, heads of responsible departments, and members of the Council. During the session, several important issues aimed at improving the quality of education, ensuring the implementation of decisions adopted within the framework of state policy, and further enhancing the university’s activities were discussed.
The first agenda item focused on reviewing the implementation status of decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as government decisions and related orders.
On this matter, the Rector of the university, Sh. Kayumov, delivered a report highlighting the ongoing reforms in the higher education system and the consistent implementation of national decisions within the university. In particular, detailed information was presented on the measures being undertaken to improve the quality of education, support scientific research, develop innovative projects, and create a modern educational environment for students.
It was also noted that regular monitoring is being conducted at the university to ensure the implementation of state programs and regulatory legal documents, which plays an important role in the effective organization of the institution’s activities.
The next agenda item was devoted to organizing re-study opportunities for students who have academic debts in certain subjects during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Another important issue discussed at the meeting was the election of the Chairperson of the University Women’s Council.
On this matter, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, M. Kanagatov, presented information on the initiatives being carried out at the university to support women and enhance their participation in education and public life.
In accordance with the decision of the Council, Vasila Ergashovna was elected as the Chairwoman of the University Women’s Council. The university community congratulated the newly elected chairwoman and wished her great success, effective initiatives, and further achievements in her responsible role.
As noted during the meeting, the university is implementing a number of programs aimed at ensuring gender equality, supporting talented female students, and encouraging their scientific and social initiatives. In this regard, the activities of the Women’s Council play an important role.
