During the recent meeting of the University Council, members approved a new System for Stimulating Scientific Activity, designed to encourage faculty and researchers to achieve greater success in academic work.
To provide detailed information about this system, a special session was held with the participation of university faculty. The session was led by D. Mengliyev, Leading Specialist of the Department of Master’s Programs, Scientific Research, and Innovations.
During his presentation, Mr. Mengliyev explained the introduction of one-time awards for faculty members and staff who demonstrate outstanding scientific achievements. He also elaborated on the evaluation criteria, procedures for financial incentives, and the requirements for publishing in international scientific journals.
It was emphasized that the new incentive system is based on the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 517, ensuring alignment with national priorities for scientific advancement.
This initiative aims to motivate researchers, strengthen the university’s scientific potential, and encourage faculty members to contribute to the global academic community through high-quality publications and innovative research.
