Cybersecurity today stands as a vital pillar of national security—elevated to the level of state policy and recognized as a strategic priority for ensuring stability in the digital space. To counter and prevent growing cyber threats, the government has adopted a number of regulatory and legal measures.
In line with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 20, 2025 (No. PQ-14), the state university Cyber University was established to train highly qualified specialists in cybersecurity. Alongside this, the Cyber Academy (CA) was created to strengthen the professional skills and retraining of current employees.
This decree lays the foundation for comprehensive measures aimed at developing the national cybersecurity system, expanding human resource capacity, and safeguarding the interests of the state and society.
Today marks an important milestone: the Cyber Academy has officially launched its operations. As part of fulfilling the tasks outlined in the Cabinet of Ministers’ letter dated September 2, 2025, the Academy has organized its first specialized training course on cybersecurity. The course, held in a demonstrative format at the Cybersecurity Center, equips participants with practical skills to secure organizational systems and proactively prevent cyber threats.
The Cyber Academy is envisioned as a cutting-edge platform for continuous professional development—supporting government institutions, economic management bodies, and private sector organizations in strengthening their cybersecurity capacity.
