Responsibilities

Effective organization and management of the department's activities.
Development and improvement of curricula and programs based on modern requirements.
Implementation of work aimed at increasing the scientific and pedagogical potential of the department's teaching staff.
Introduction of advanced scientific achievements in mathematics and natural sciences into the educational process.
Development of scientific research activities and expansion of participation in international projects.
Organization of additional educational programs and science Olympiads aimed at improving student knowledge.
Regular reporting to the university leadership on the activities of the department.

Requirements

Ability to develop and effectively implement a strategic development plan for the department.
Ability to organize the educational process, manage educational and methodological work, and conduct quality monitoring.
Experience in organizing research in mathematics and natural sciences.
Ability to establish local and international partnerships and participate in projects.
Development and implementation of programs aimed at increasing the capacity of teachers and students.
Experience in managing grants, research projects, and initiatives.

Terms and Conditions

Higher education (mathematics, physics or related fields).
Scientific degree (Candidate of Science or Doctor of Science is preferred).
At least 5 years of teaching experience in the higher education system, of which at least 3 years in a leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of modern teaching methods, scientific approaches and international standards in mathematics and natural sciences.
Knowledge of English at least at level B2 (level C1 is preferred), knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.
High level of computer literacy and knowledge of the use of modern educational technologies.
